Coincidentally, this scene appeared spontaneously as I was walking back to my car from a Charleston Photography Group class on outdoor portraiture in July. I bought a glass of lemonade from this kind adorable little girl and gave her a big tip if I could take her photo. (Mom was there and approved too). I quickly sat in the middle of Battery Street to get the low angle and shallow depth of field with my long lens. I followed up with the mom and sent them a file.

I was sitting on my back porch enjoying the day when I saw this beauty checking out my flowers. I went inside to grab my camera, fully expecting it to be gone by the time I returned. I was able to get several great shots while it almost seemed to pose for me.

The beautiful and delicate light pink azalea is my moms favorite of all the azalea colors . It was taken at Charles Towne Landing which holds significant sentimental value to me. I have many fond memories of going there with my grandma and grandad who lived in Hanahan my whole life. I ALWAYS think of them when I visit Charles Towne Landing, it is a very special place to me and I miss them both dearly! I had intentions to frame this one for my mom but now I'm not sure I ever did.

Working on trying new things! Plucked this Puff out of my front yard flower bed. Used a small compact mirror to create the shot using natural daylight thorough the window. As a deep space photographer, I like to take photos of outer space targets that our eyes cannot see. These photos require a lot of patience and a lot of clear nights reason why my telescopes are working almost every night when it isn't cloudy. Astrophotography is very different from all the other types of photography, a single photo sometimes requires tens of hours under the clear night sky but the result is very satisfying. In this photo, I would like to present to you the California Nebula

This is part of a huge street art display, a real gem in Leeds. I loved the different displays of hands walking, creates a real sense of movement and intrigue. Photo was taken around 11am. The light you see shining on the hand is from a wall light. Camera setting - F4.2, 1/400 shutter and ISO 200.
