Architecture Photography

Saturday 03 June
White Point Gardens - 10am - 2 Hours
Charleston Photography Group
Architectural photography can be a great way of exploring and documenting a city, whether it's your home or on holiday. Its about capturing not only the design and accurate representation of a building, but to have the shots be aesthetically pleasing to the viewer's eye. An architectural photographer makes pictures, not takes pictures. In this session, we will be covering how to better understand Architecture photography and we'll be looking at ways to take some impressive shots and the camera settings to use.

I enjoyed spending the morning with April. Despite the uncooperative weather, she kept it light and collaborative. She gave me some good coach points and offered her perspective on things.

April did a wonderful job of sharing the creative options for this type of photography. She was extremely patient with those of us who struggled with our camera settings. Despite that she also helped with what settings to use in different shooting conditions. We were lucky to have a small class so she could give us individual instruction. I do feel I have a renewed interest in my photography which was a goal of mine. She helped trigger any creative spark that's been asleep for a few years!
